I remember the first time I stepped into the university gate. By then I was a tiny, young and innocent girl, ready to explore the new opportunities that were ahead, but held back by the many fears I had about joining university.
The school had many myths, many of which I had already believed, but I walked in with the hopes that I would come out alive. In a rush not to get late for my first day of orientation, I entered the auditorium, very fancy name for hall, which was full of freshman students just like me. My shy, introverted self could not allow me to socialise, so I stuck to finding a seat and fixating my eyes on my new notebook waiting for the session to begin.
The day went on swiftly and I met new people, new friends and lecturers that I would be seeing often. I got a feel of how life would be here and what my major would be about. The last part of the day encompassed a tour around the school grounds. The facilities were up to date, the classes clean and very airy, the grass was greener, at least that is what I saw. The place was beautiful and it held a unique ambience that I had never experienced before.
I was going to be okay in USIU.

Wow. It seems to have been a nice experience for you more of. And the best part of you having positivity of being okay in USIU-A. That was great. Thumbs up 👍👍
